I just thought that I would let you know how wonderful we are finding the Kensington 120W.
The old Apple brick was a real problem on our yacht. Not only did it suck power like crazy through the inverter, but both brick and inverter got very hot so that we didn't like to leave them unattended, and in addition the Mac's keypad wouldn't work with the inverter running.
Our Kensington means that it is possible to leave the Macbook Pro on charge through the cigar lighter while we are away at work in the daytime, and the solar panels and wind generator are easily able to keep up with the drain. The unit doesn't get noticeably warm, either, and we are very happy indeed with the magsafe adaptor. Tripping over cables and dropping laptops are daily occurrences aboard.

I want to thank you for your outstanding customer service. After my misunderstanding about the capability of the Apple airplane power supply, I contacted you in a desperate search for a product that would charge my MacBook battery during a 14 hour plane ride to Japan and I was leaving in one day! I found your website using Google and sent an email which you responded to immediately. You told me what product to order and to select express shipping which I did. Then I sent a follow up email reminding you that I needed the IGO by 6 PM the next day. You said that your shipments had already left for the day and that I would not get the IGO in time. Then you went above and beyond any kind of normal customer service and made an extra trip to USPS to get the IGO to me in time for my trip. I can't express how much I appreciate the effort you went to for me. You don't know me, had never heard from me before yesterday, and yet you went out of your way to help me. That's just awesome. Mike - I can't believe how fast you managed to get the adaptor to me here in Melbourne Australia! Less than two-weeks from the time of ordering to the time it arrived. This will be a fantastic solution for us to power our laptops on the deserted tropical island (Tetepare) which will be our home in the Solomon Islands for the next 18 months. We'll be totally dependent on DC/solar power and your product is the most elegant solution I know of for such situations. Thanks for coming up with such an innovative device. I rarely do this, but I couldn't help myself.
I ordered the cable from you and the adapter you specified from igo yesterday on rush. This morning both parts arrived. I quickly plugged my macbook pro into my igo everywhere 7500 with the new adapter and cable and voia! I have achieved the elusive nirvana of the glowing orange light. I can now charge my 17" macbook pro, my motorola phone, my ipod, etc. all from the same power brick (within the limits of the igo of course).
Amazing. I sent off an email just a day ago asking how to do it and here I sit with everything working.
Excellent work. The connectors fit perfectly.
Excellent service. Quick, courteous, accurate and helpful responses. Fast assembly and shipping when required.

Hello Mike
Plugged the 12v power supply in [our boat] and everything appears just fine and dandy.
My MacBook is running and the battery is charging with the usual icon showing.
Also the MagSafe plug light is glowing orange.
Problem solved.

I wish I had a camera easily accessible here, because I'd take a picture of my MacBook Pro sitting here on American Airlines flight 2003 en route to Chicago, power adapter connected, and glowing... orange!
You got that right... my MacBook Pro's running and my battery is charging right here on the plane.
You did it!!
Of course, you won't get this e-mail until after I land, but... I couldn't possibly wait any longer to type it!!
