Go to home depot (or other) find the cheapest floodlight and take out the motion detector, wire that up to a 24vac transformer. Then hook up the 24vas transformer to a sprinkler solenoid. Then hook up the water solenoid to a sprinkler (the kind that is mechanical with swing arm,not only them getting wet, but the noise will startle them too). Hook up a water hose. Position everything in area to be protected and keep motion detector in test mode and adjust sensitivity.

Here is what you'll need to do to get the Apple TV into your car.

You'll need to provide 5V7.2A constant voltage to it.
After you've taken apart the Apple TV, just attach to Positive and Negative and it should work.
There is more then one wire to the Pos/neg terminals on the motherboard. Find the proper Positive terminal (brown wires) and negative wire and attach.

Important that you find a DC to DC converter that can maintain that voltage or it will not work

There have been a lot of chatter regarding putting your Apple TV in your car. With the growing number of entertainment system in Minivans, the apple TV would be the perfect choice. Not more having to bring DVD's, or music into your car. Just have iTunes automatically sync up your movies, TV shows, podcasts, and music while your car is parked in the driveway or garage!

The current problem with the Apple TV today is that it is powered by AC, with no good solution for the Car's DC power. Until now...




Here is our prototype for the DC-DC converter that will allow you to use the Apple TV in your car. The final version will be a simple swap out of the current power supply inside your Apple TV(we'll provide an How to Manual), and it will not have an external box as you see in our prototype here. Here is our conversion from a standard battery found at a major department store that is modified to be used for the Macbook. Why pay up to 500.00 for an external battery when this solution can yield you ample time(we got upwards of 5.5 hrs on full power) more then 4.5 times the savings and this will charge your laptop battery too?
From the feedback that we get, this will definitely benefit those who are in the photography field. All they would have to do is plug in the car adapter and they are truly wireless!

Recently we set out to see how much it would really cost to use an external battery with our Macbook book. We were very surprised that it could set you back as far as back as $499.99 (on sale too!). We wondered if we can build ourselves one from local stores that will give us the same performance and for fraction of the cost. Well, we did. I'm looking at a receipt from a well known department store for ONLY $55.96 ! If you couple that with one of our adapters it could be as cheap as $115.96.
