FAQs:
Q: How will I control the remote collar when I am away from home?
A: The Wifi Relay will be attached to your existing dog remote transmitter. If you see your dog doing something you don’t like via camera, you load up the app on your phone and press the virtual button on the phone. The signal will go through the internet and connect to the wifi relay that is connected to your home network, and press the button on the dog remote transmitter.
Q: Will I be able to still use the remote manually while I’m at home, or is this setup designed to then use your phone 100% of the time?
A: We will have the wifi relay box detectable. We will try to make the jack internal to the remote, but if not, there will be an external jack. You will be able to continue using your remote as usual.
Q: How big is the relay attached to the remote? Is it all contained internally or is it something larger externally where you could no longer carry the remote around in your pocket.
A:We have various sized boxes, depending on the project, The box size we have will be approximately smaller than the size of a deck of cards and about 5oz. As mentioned this is detachable from the remote.
Q: How exactly is this used on the phone, through an app I assume?
A:You will download an app (this is an ‘off the shelf’ product which has been developed by a 3rd party- not affiliated to us). This app is very similar to other smart home controllers on the market. Once you link it to the app, you will be able to control your relay.

Q: Can it be controlled from more then one phone?
A: Yes, they would need to simply log into the same account.
Q: Is a wifi connection necessary for the collar to work after this is installed? Sometimes I use the collar in remote areas, so having a compact remote that still functions without wifi is important.
A: No. You can still use your remote collar as originally designed from the factory.
Q: Could I purchase a second, identical, unmodified transmitter to work with my collar?
A: Check with the original mfg.
Q: What remote control collar do you recommend?
A: As of now, we like this one: Dr. Trainer Remote collar (Amazon Affiliate). Caution: Do not accidentally choose just the collar, you MUST send us complete kit (transmitter and collar).
