“Got my 195WH Ultra High Capacity External Battery and have to say it’s a beauty. It’s a good weight/capacity match, maybe not for my everyday carry, but for all those other times. Also, it can power almost any other wearable or carryable electronics I own. If/when I get another laptop I can be pretty sure that too will be powerable by this unit.
I might buy one of his smaller battery packs too, for everyday use.

“Mikegyver’s MagSafe cord for my our TWO MacBook Pro laptops has been awesome enabling me to carry just ONE Targus 120W universal adaptor in my travels. Saves weight, the Targus cord is MUCH longer than Apple’s cord, and can run off BOTH AC and 12 DC (Apple’s only works on AC)… Awesome when we’re on the road or not plugged into the grid in our RV. Much better to buy a new Mikegyver cable for each computer than buying a bunch of extra expensive, unreliable adaptors from Apple.

I also purchased a 12 volt charger to directly charge my laptops so now I do not need to convert 12 volt DC to 120 AC then back to 12 volt to charge my laptops. I recently received the car charger mct350-1u2c from Mikegyver. So far this unit seems built solidly and fits well in my car’s socket. I wanted to post because for me in testing, this unit was able to successfully negotiate 9v and ~2.75A while using Apple’s Magsafe Battery pack (verified with SIIG inline usb-c power meter). I have more testing to complete, but in theory this means this accessory is USB PD “3.0” spec capable, and should also allow full 15w Magsafe charging speed for iPhone 12/13 models (except mini which are limited to 12w). I have been using Magsafe pucks as well as MagSafe battery packs in my car for charging iPhones for a while, but I think this is the first mobile adapter that would be capable of negotiating the highest MagSafe charging speed of 15w. I still need to test this adapter with MacBook Pro and iPad Pros and see the charging rates.
